NEARPEST / Website data
Your visit.
Your choice.
This notice covers optional activity tracking and the callback desk on this website. For booking, service records and text messages, read the privacy policy. Updated November 5, 2026.
Optional website activity
Analytics runs by default on nearpest.com. We save the pages you visit and actions such as viewing pricing, opening the price finder, seeing an estimate, and clicking call, text or booking links. Records include a random browser identifier and time. The city comes from the page you viewed; it is not your physical location. A click does not tell us whether you completed a call or booking.
We do not save price-finder ZIP codes, typed form contents before submission, browsing outside this site, or precise location. The tracker does not use fingerprinting or attempt to identify you from your IP address. Browser privacy signals (Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track) disable activity collection.
Google Analytics
On nearpest.com, Google Analytics runs by default to measure page visits, call and booking clicks, and successful callback submissions. Google receives technical information such as browser details and IP address through its service. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, notes, ZIP codes, or URL query strings to Google Analytics. Advertising features are disabled. Analytics is off on this staging site and when you decline or send a browser privacy signal.
Changing your choice stops future analytics events and clears analytics cookies from this browser. It does not erase records already received by Google. Read Google’s privacy policy.
Contact requests
When you submit the callback form, we save the name, contact information and other details you provide so NEARPEST can review your request. The form asks for permission to contact you. Linking your browsing activity requires a separate optional checkbox and activity tracking being enabled. Submitting a form does not book service or subscribe you to marketing.
Cookies and storage
Essential security and sign-in features may use cookies. The tracker stores your tracking preference and, while activity tracking is enabled, a random browser identifier in first-party cookies. Your preference is also kept in browser storage so your choice is remembered. Allowed activity preferences expire after 30 days; declined preferences after one year.
To limit automated submissions, the server briefly uses an IP-derived salted hash and request counters. The tracker database does not save raw IP addresses. Hosting and sign-in providers may process technical information to operate the website.
Access and retention
Tracker records are stored with this website and restricted to the authorized NEARPEST dashboard account. The desk displays up to 30 days of activity, 180 days of contact records and 90 days of public source articles. Expired records are removed during the next dashboard load, so deletion timing depends on that maintenance running.
Public business signals
The private desk can search GDELT public news for business openings, expansions and procurement mentions. It stores article titles, source links, dates and a research city. Those articles are research clues, not proof of buying intent. They are separate from visitor tracking.
Change your choice
Use “Tracking choices” in the footer at any time. Declining stops future activity collection and clears the browser identifier; it does not erase previously saved records. For questions or a request about your submitted contact data, email [email protected]. NEARPEST may need information to verify your request.
