How our pest control service works
After that, we keep you on a schedule. Basic runs every 2 calendar months at $59–$79/mo (billed monthly). Monthly pest protection runs $99–$119/month. Scorpion protection runs $99–$119/month and adds block-wall treatment, it's the plan we recommend most for a reason. Mosquito reduction is quoted as a seasonal add-on. No mystery pricing.
Perimeter pest control: your first line of defense
On every visit we apply a liquid barrier around the foundation, treat the base of block walls, spread granules in landscape beds and sweep webs off eaves and patios. Desert pests like crickets and earwigs harbor in irrigated beds and under rock; granules reach them where sprays can't.
Arizona heat breaks products down faster than almost anywhere in the country, which is why the schedule matters more than the spray. A perimeter that gets refreshed on time stays sealed. One that doesn't, doesn't.
Residential pest control for Arizona homes
The standard plan does not include every service. Scorpions need different products, different timing and block wall work, that's why they're covered on Scorpion rather than the base plan. Termites and rodents are their own services, and we'll explain when when you're dealing with one.
Same-day help for urgent pest problems
We triage the problem on the phone, explain what to avoid until we arrive, and give you a specific service window. Urgent visits use the same published Initial Defense Service range when that service details fits; there is no panic premium.
Yard, turf, and landscape pest activity
Targeted yard work can be added when evidence supports it. The goal is identification and timing: treating the pest's active stage and source, not applying a generic lawn spray to every brown patch.
Attic, insulation, and rodent-damage questions
Borate-treated insulation can add an insect-resistant attic layer and improve R-value, but it does not replace whole-home pest control and it does not solve active rodents or scorpions. Those problems must be removed and excluded first.

Common questions
How much does pest control cost in Arizona?
Residential plans run $49–$69/month for quarterly service, $59–$79/month for Basic service every 2 calendar months, and $99–$119/month for monthly protection. Every plan is billed monthly and includes free re-service between visits. The Initial Defense Service is $129–$179 for standard home sizes.
How often should pest control be done in Arizona?
The schedule depends on the property and pest activity. Quarterly service is every 3 calendar months, Basic every 2 calendar months, and Monthly every calendar month. We recommend a schedule after reviewing the property and activity.
What's included in the $129–$179 Initial Defense Service?
A full interior and exterior treatment: baseboards, kitchens and baths, garage, entry points, eaves, the foundation perimeter, block walls and granules in the landscape. It's a one-time reset so your recurring perimeter service starts with a clean slate.
Do I need to be home for service?
Only for the initial visit, since we treat the interior. After that, recurring visits focus on the exterior perimeter, so we can service while you're at work. If something ever needs interior attention, we'll schedule a time that works.
Is the treatment safe for kids and pets?
We use products registered for residential use and apply them according to the label, that's both the law and the safety standard. Keep kids and pets off treated areas until dry, usually under an hour in Arizona. Tell your tech about pets and we'll plan the application around them.
Can NEARPEST help with an urgent pest problem today?
Usually, when you call before 1pm and the route allows it. We prioritize stinging insects at entries, scorpions in sleeping areas, and rodents in living spaces, then give you the earliest clear window available.
Do you treat lawn pests or inspect pest-damaged attics?
Yes, when the evidence calls for specialty work. Yard treatments and attic or insulation work are inspected and planned rather than sold as separate one-size-fits-all plans.
