Taking calls 24/7
Bed bugs are the pest people are most embarrassed to call about. Don't be. They can travel on luggage, used furniture, clothing, and through shared walls. The first step is confirming the activity and finding where it is concentrated.
NEARPEST starts with a careful inspection of beds, upholstered furniture, baseboards, nearby rooms, and other likely hiding areas. From there, we explain what we found and recommend a treatment plan that fits the property, the level of activity, and how the space is used.
Whole-room heat is one professional bed bug method, but NEARPEST does not currently provide heat treatment. We will be clear about the services available now and what the next step should be before any work is scheduled.
What we do
Inspection first
We confirm signs of bed bug activity, identify the rooms involved, and look for the hiding areas that should guide the treatment plan.
A plan for the property
A single bedroom, a furnished rental, and a multi-unit property do not need the same response. The recommendation is based on what the inspection shows.
Clear preparation steps
If treatment is scheduled, we give you a straightforward preparation list so you know what to move, wash, bag, or leave in place.
Straight expectations
We explain the recommended approach, what it includes, and any follow-up needed before you approve the work.
How professional bed bug treatment starts
The inspection also helps define the scope. Activity limited to one room may need a different plan from activity found in a neighboring bedroom, a furnished rental, or units that share walls.
After the inspection, you get a clear explanation of the available treatment approach, the preparation required, and the expected follow-up. If a service is not currently available from NEARPEST, including whole-room heat, we say so before you make a decision.
What to expect from the first appointment
During the appointment, we inspect the affected rooms, ask where bites or sightings have occurred, and document the signs we find. That information determines the recommended treatment scope and preparation steps.
If you are seeing possible bed bug activity in Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, or another East Valley community, request an inspection. We will confirm the next step and explain the treatment options NEARPEST currently provides.

Questions, answered
Does NEARPEST offer whole-room heat treatment?
Not yet. Heat is one professional bed bug treatment method, but NEARPEST does not currently provide whole-room heat. We start with an inspection and explain the treatment options that are available for your property.
Do I have to throw out my mattress?
Do not throw it out before an inspection. Moving a suspected mattress through the property can spread activity, and replacement is not always the first recommendation. Let the inspection determine the next step.
How do you confirm that the problem is bed bugs?
We inspect the affected rooms for live insects and the physical signs they leave behind, then document where activity is found. The treatment recommendation follows that evidence.
How long does bed bug treatment take?
Timing depends on the treatment method, the number of rooms involved, and the level of activity. NEARPEST does not promise a one-day result before inspecting the property and confirming the available treatment plan.
