Same-day service when booked by 1pm

Some pest problems can wait for Thursday. Some can't. A wasp nest over the front door your kids use. A scorpion on the wall of the nursery. A rat in the kitchen the night before family arrives. Roaches showing up an hour before guests do. Those aren't book-us-next-week problems — they're today problems.

Here's our honest promise: call (480) 555-0199 before 1pm and we can usually get a technician to you the same day, routes permitting. We won't pretend it's a guarantee — some days every truck is committed — but same-day is the norm, not the exception, and we'll tell you straight on the phone whether we can make it.

NEARPEST is licensed by the Arizona Office of Pest Management and based in Gilbert, which means we're already working in your part of the East Valley most days. Short drives make fast responses possible.

What we do

Stinging insect response

Wasp nests at entries, patios, and play areas — and feral bee colonies, which around here you should assume are Africanized. Don't go near it; call us.

Scorpion encounters

A bark scorpion in a bedroom — especially a kid's — gets priority. We treat, inspect entry points, and tell you whether you're looking at a one-off or a population.

Rodent sightings

A rat or mouse in the living space means active access right now. We set up control fast and find the entry before tonight's repeat performance.

Flare-ups on a deadline

Roach or ant surge before guests, a party, a listing photo shoot, or an inspection. We knock the visible problem down fast, then fix the cause properly.

What counts as a pest emergency

Anything with stings near doorways tops the list: paper wasp nests over entries and bee swarms or colonies anywhere people and pets move. With nearly all feral bee colonies in the Valley being Africanized, a wall full of bees is a genuine safety issue, not a curiosity.

Bark scorpions in sleeping areas come next. Arizona bark scorpions are the only US scorpion whose sting is medically serious, and small children feel it worst — a scorpion in a kid's bedroom justifies a same-day visit, full stop. Rodents in kitchens fall in the same tier: contamination starts the first night, not the fifth.

And then there's the social emergency — the roach flare-up with guests inbound. We don't judge. We hustle.

How same-day actually works

When you call, we triage on the phone: what you're seeing, where, and whether anyone's at immediate risk. If it's a keep-your-distance situation — bees, an active wasp nest at the door — we'll tell you exactly what to do until we arrive.

Before-1pm calls usually slot into that day's routes because we're already running the East Valley daily. Later calls get the first available window, often next morning, and we're honest about which one you're getting before we hang up.

Emergency visits start at the same $99 initial-visit rate as everything else — no panic premium. And if you join a plan afterward, free re-service between visits means the next urgent flare-up is covered at no charge. Call (480) 555-0199.

Questions, answered

Do you guarantee same-day service?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. What we'll tell you honestly: call before 1pm and we can usually run it same-day, routes permitting. If we can't make it today, you'll know on the phone, along with the earliest real window.

What should I do about a wasp nest or bees before you arrive?

Keep people and pets away, use another entrance if the nest is at a door, and don't spray or swat — that's what triggers defensive attacks, especially from Africanized bees. Distance and patience until we get there.

Is a scorpion in the house really an emergency?

In a bedroom — especially a child's — treat it as one. Bark scorpion stings are medically significant, and one indoor scorpion can signal more nearby. We'll treat, check entry points like weep screeds and door gaps, and assess whether there's a population.

Does emergency service cost extra?

No panic premium. Urgent visits start at our standard $99 initial-visit rate, and we quote anything beyond that before work starts. Plan customers get free re-services between visits, which covers most flare-ups entirely.
