A concrete wall can provide shade, joints, caps, adjoining rock, and protected movement near a yard. That does not mean every hollow cell must be treated. We examine where the wall meets landscaping, where insects are present, whether caps or joints provide access, and whether the location can be treated lawfully and safely. The report records the areas addressed and the conditions that should be monitored.
We check the bottom seal, side gaps, corners, stored items, utility lines, and the route from the garage into the house. Sealing and exclusion are separate services from $399. A damaged garage door, failing stucco, roof opening, or extensive exclusion project needs separate repair details. We do not hide construction work inside a promise to seal everything during a standard visit.

What the plan covers: The recurring plan covers common crawling pests named in the written agreement, including scorpions, spiders, crickets, ants, earwigs, and common household roaches. Homes over 4,500 square feet, acreage, unusually heavy activity, termites, bed bugs, active indoor rodent trapping, German cockroach infestations, seasonal mosquito reduction, major exclusion, and other specialty work require an inspection and separate written quote.
There is no long-term residential contract and no cancellation fee. Service remains month-to-month. If you need to pause or cancel, contact NEARPEST so the account and next scheduled visit can be updated. We earn the next visit by doing the current one correctly.
Initial Defense setup
The first visit starts with the block walls, landscape rock, irrigation, garage, patios, foundation, utility openings, shaded storage, and any edge facing open space or active construction.
You approve the recurring rate and one-time Initial Defense price before treatment starts. Homes over 4,500 square feet, heavy activity, acreage, and specialty infestations receive a separate written quote.
The route owner establishes the exterior treatment zone and targets covered activity. Interior spot treatment is included when covered pest evidence and the product label make it appropriate.
Accessible labeled wall voids, garage edges, door gaps, and practical pipe openings receive attention where appropriate. Larger repair or exclusion needs are documented instead of hidden inside a pesticide promise.
The digital service report records findings, treatment locations, products used, EPA registration numbers, and label-directed re-entry instructions for children and pets.
Once recurring protection begins, a covered pest returning between scheduled visits qualifies for targeted re-service at no additional charge under the written plan.

This record is especially useful in a large master-planned community because two homes on nearby streets can have different wall access, landscaping, garage seals, construction exposure, and indoor evidence. A newer build should not be pushed into monthly service solely because it is new. A calm interior lot may fit quarterly service, while a repeated scorpion problem with active cricket activity may justify monthly attention.
Our written re-service promise
The return visit is designed around the area where activity appeared. We review the earlier service notes, inspect the new evidence, and treat the relevant location. The guarantee is not a promise that no outdoor insect will ever cross the property, and it is not a substitute for correcting a leak, damaged door, structural gap, or sanitation condition that continues to support activity.
Specialty services keep their own written details. Termite treatment, bed-bug remediation, active rodent trapping, major exclusion, and German cockroach clean-outs are not silently folded into a general recurring plan.
