For a long time, Pinal County was the part of the map where most Valley pest companies started inventing excuses — too far, too spread out, not worth the drive. As the county filled in with rooftops, that stopped making sense to us — and since our home base sits in Queen Creek, right at the Pinal line, covering it properly was never a stretch.

From there it's a quick run down Hunt Highway and the US-60 to San Tan Valley, Florence, and Gold Canyon, and on to Coolidge and Casa Grande. These aren't squeeze-you-in-if-we-can addresses. They're a route, with the same published pricing and the same free re-service guarantee you'd get anywhere in the East Valley.

The pest list out here leans hard on the desert and the farms. Bark scorpions coming off new construction and open desert, pack rats building middens in the cholla and chewing through engine bays, flies and rodents tracking the field edges. It's a different fight than the suburbs, and the city pages below get into how it plays out where you actually live.

Cities we cover here

Why Pinal pest pressure is its own animal

Two things drive most of it: raw desert and active agriculture. The desert means bark scorpions and pack rats are native neighbors, not occasional visitors, and every new subdivision that grades another parcel sends a fresh wave of them into the nearest block walls. Gold Canyon, sitting right against the Superstitions, catches the worst of the scorpion side of that.

The farms — cotton, alfalfa, dairies, the feedlots around Coolidge and Casa Grande — keep flies and rodents in steady supply along the edges where fields meet houses. You don't spray your way out of that. You manage it, with source reduction and a perimeter that gets refreshed before it fails, and we're upfront about that difference before we ever quote a number.

What running it from Queen Creek changes

Basing here isn't a marketing line — it's the thing that fixes response time. When a San Tan Valley or Florence customer calls about a scorpion between visits, we're coming from Queen Creek, minutes away, not crossing the entire Valley to get there. That's the whole reason the re-service guarantee actually means something this far out.

Every recurring plan starts with a $199-$299 clean-out, then runs on cadence: Basic $79-$95 a visit, Monthly $65-$85, Scorpion protection $95-$135 a month. On acreage and desert-edge lots we push the work out to outbuildings, wood piles, and equipment, and we flag pack rat middens the moment we spot them. Licensed through the Arizona Office of Pest Management, same as everywhere we go.

Scorpion control by city

Questions, answered

Do you really service Pinal County, or is it an upcharge?

We really do, on scheduled routes from the Queen Creek base, and there's no distance upcharge. San Tan Valley, Florence, Coolidge, Gold Canyon, and Casa Grande all run at the same published pricing as the East Valley.

Why does Gold Canyon have so many more scorpions than my friend in Mesa?

The Superstition Mountains. Gold Canyon sits right up against them, and bark scorpions live in that rock and ride the washes down into yards. It's some of the heaviest scorpion pressure we treat anywhere on the map.

I'm next to a farm and the flies never stop. Can you fix that?

We can knock it way down and keep it managed, but anyone promising to eliminate flies next to active agriculture is selling you something. We treat the resting surfaces and entry points, advise on source reduction, and the free re-services help hold the line between visits.

My brand-new house already has scorpions. Did I get a bad lot?

No — it's normal out here. New construction displaces the scorpions that were living on that ground, and your fresh block wall is the best hiding spot left standing. Monthly Scorpion protection is built for exactly that.
